A summer kids’ event called Rocky Railway VBS will be hosted at LaPorte United Methodist Church from July 5th to 9th. At Rocky Railway, kids discover through life’s ups and downs that Jesus’ power pulls us through. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, take part in one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to trust Jesus, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. We will also have a tasty pre-packaged snack for the kids to take home every night. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Rock Wrap-Up that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

All necessary safety and health precautions will be followed to prevent the spread of disease, specifically COVID-19. We will also need volunteers to help us with the event so please contact Stacy Goetz if you are interested in volunteering or donating items for VBS.
